1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of The Wheatsheaf public house and accommodation in West Beckham, Norfolk. By making a reservation, staying in our rooms, or using our facilities, guests accept these terms in full.

3. Bookings and Reservations

• Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed upon receipt of a booking confirmation. The Wheatsheaf reserves the right to decline any reservation at our discretion.
• Deposit: A deposit may be required to secure the booking. This will be specified at the time of booking and will be non-refundable unless specified otherwise.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellations by Guests: Cancellations made more tan 72hours prior to arrival will forfeit their deposit . Cancellations within 72 hours of arrival will be charged  the full booking amount.
• Cancellations by The Wheatsheaf: The Wheatsheaf reserves the right to cancel bookings in the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, emergencies, maintenance issues). Guests will be notified as soon as possible and offered alternative arrangements or a full refund.
• No-Shows: Guests who do not arrive on the date of booking without prior notice wil be charged the full booking amount.

5. Check-in and Check-out

• Check-in Time: From 2.30 pm-9.pm
• Check-out Time: By 10.30am.
• Late Check-out: Late check by arrangement-out may be available on request and may incur additional charges £45.00

6. Guest Responsibilities

• Personal Property: The Wheatsheaf is not responsible for any loss or damage to guests’ personal property. Guests are encouraged to secure valuables and not leave belongings unattended.
• Behaviour: Guests must conduct themselves respectfully, ensuring that their behaviour does not disturb other guests or disrupt The Wheatsheaf operations. Inappropriate behaviour may result in termination of the stay without refund.
• Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to the premises, furniture, or fixtures. The Wheatsheaf reserves the right to charge the cost of repair or replacement.

7. Smoking and Alcohol Policy

• Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms or enclosed areas of The Wheatsheaf. Guests who violate this policy will incur a cleaning fee of [insert amount] and may be asked to leave.
• Alcohol: Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed in designated areas. Guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol into the premises unless agreed upon with management.

8. Pets

Pets are permitted only in designated rooms or areas, and prior notice must be given during booking. Guests are responsible for ensuring that their pets are well-behaved and do not disturb other guests. Pets are Charged at £15.00 per pet per night.

9. Liability

• Personal Injury: The Wheatsheaf is not liable for any injury sustained by guests or their companions unless caused by the negligence of The Wheatsheaf staff.
• Force Majeure: The Wheatsheaf shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing any of its obligations under these terms due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or government restrictions.

10. Privacy Policy

The Wheatsheaf respects guests’ privacy and is committed to protecting personal data. Any information collected during the booking process or stay will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Amendments

The Wheatsheaf reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be available on our website or upon request.
